Top 10 Article Submission Sites Based On Traffic

Article marketing is an effective staple in the Internet marketing realm. Article submission once your article has been completed can be very helpful in generating quality traffic to your website or blog. There are hundreds of article submission sites on the web. Once again we at The Unknown Affiliate are doing a little work for our readers by providing the top 10 article submission sites based upon traffic. Here we go.

  1. ezinearticles.com
  2. articlesbase.com
  3. goarticles.com
  4. articlealley.com
  5. articledashboard.com
  6. searchwarp.com
  7. ideamarketers.com
  8. articlecity.com
  9. easyarticles.com
  10. articlecube.com
I enjoy writing articles but article submission can be tedious work. Article submission software may be a useful tool to submit your articles to multiple sites. I still do it the old fashioned way avoiding duplicate content. There is a software that allows you to revise articles with a few clicks. I use Mass Article Control. This software revises articles by utilizing synonyms for words in your articles, therefore avoiding duplicate content. Hundreds even thousands of articles can be generated from 1 article by pointing and clicking. It greatly reduces my article writing time while providing original content for each article submission site. As always I hope this helps.

Social Bookmarking and Its Relvancy

If you do not utilize social bookmarking in your marketing endeavors, you are missing out on invaluable back links to your website or blog. Social Bookmarking by wiki definition is is a method for Internet users to share, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web resources. Unlike file sharing, the resources themselves aren't shared, merely bookmarks that reference them. Social bookmarking increases the relevancy of your sites in search engines. It can also garner valuable traffic to your site or blog. The best thing about social bookmarking is it is free. There are rules to be followed when bookmarking your sites and or blogs. Internet marketing expert Michael Cheney calls it the 80/20 rule. When bookmarking, 80% or 8 out of 10 of the sites bookmarked should be other website content. The reason for this, is you do not want to come off as a spammer that is utilizing the bookmarking service for self promotion only. Included is an example of a proper bookmarking page that I use when bookmarking The Unknown Affiliate. The only Unknown Affiliate link is highlighted. As you can see there are many different sites other than The Unknown Affiliate that I have bookmarked. There are hundreds of bookmarking sites, I am going to provide you with a list of 10 top bookmarking sites based upon Alexa traffic rankings.

  1. http://www.digg.com
  2. http://www.reddit.com
  3. http://www.delicious.com (see pic)
  4. http://www.mixx.com
  5. http://www.propeller.com
  6. http://www.folkd.com
  7. http://www.fark.com
  8. http://www.indianpad.com
  9. http://www.faves.com
  10. http://www.sphinn.com
Bookmarking is a tedious necessity when internet marketing. There is a website that allows you to bookmark at multiple sites utilizing one application. I found it to be a bit too glitchy when using Firefox but maybe it will work for you www.socialmarker.com. There is also social bookmarking software Bookmarking Demon comes to mind. I have heard a few good things about it through the virtual grapevine but it seems a little black hat to me so I still do it the old fashioned way. Feel free to research it yourself and let me know how, if utilized it works for you. As always I hope this helps.

The Proof is in The Pudding

When beginning to earn money on the internet, affiliate marketing is a great place to start. The real earners of the realm also realize the way to true financial success is selling your own products. Proof is the most important segway to success selling your own product on the internet. By establishing proof as an affiliate not only will you be putting great money into your pockets but you will also be establishing a rapport with other marketers. This is critical as you attempt to gain joint venture partners. With joint venture partners you are coaching your own virtual sales team of other marketers that will expect you to be able to do the same for them. It is a, you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours philosophy. With proof you can even go to the guys you are selling products for when you release your first product. Most times no good marketer is willing to kick a hand that has been making them money. Proof is a necessity. You can establish proof by keeping good track of the money earned while running affiliate campaigns. Establish a virtual rapport with the sellers of these affiliate products by providing testimonials, following and commenting on their blogs with positive statements, and emailing personally if possible. They know by paying you if you are moving money or moving your mouth. Often times a good testimonial can establish a little proof for yourself with other possible joint venture partners. Be honest and forthright when corresponding with other marketers. Just because you work online you are not invisible. Character and work ethic can build or break relationships. As Always I hope this helps!

Religion in the Classroom Unusual Taboo

Now with this being a success driven, high powered, awesomely interesting, phenomenally informative marketing blog. This may be unusual. This may almost be taboo. It is a story that has lightened my day and made me appreciate one of God's greatest gifts, being a parent. I want to share it with you. On Mondays my wife takes classes. On Monday's it is my responsibility to see the kids off to school at 7:50, 8:20, and 12:00PM (1/2 day kindergartner). I then retrieve them from their buses when they return at 3:30PM. As you may expect being the father of six my Mondays are always my longest workdays. This Monday also happens to be my Wife and I 's wedding anniversary. We have already planned a quiet evening at home. We plan on getting the kids to bed a little early and spending a little quality time. Like the man I am, I want to get just a little more work done, but God I hope there is not going to be a change of plans. With six kids under the age of eight quality time with my Wife is truly appreciated.

Today when the two oldest children returned from school. They were enjoying a snack at the kitchen table with the rest of the brood in the den watching Nick Toons, when my 6 year old son asked me the strangest question, "Dad is it ok if we celebrate Hanukkah?". Now that question may not seem strange to you especially if you are of the Jewish Faith. We are an African-American non-denominational Christian family. He then explained "I want to celebrate Hanukkah with my friend Daniel". I was stunned how could I explain this to my son without bias against his friend Daniel's belief. I then realized my way out and said, "son you can wish Daniel a Happy Hanukkah but we believe in Jesus' Birthday which is Christmas. Daniel and his family believe something else." Before I could field another question from my inquisitive six year old. My 8 year old daughter exclaimed "Fatima said, God does not have a son." I was stuck like a deer in headlights. I remember looking at the clock to see if my wife would be home soon to maybe help me out with this. No dice. I also remember thinking briefly about the 2 wars and the diverse group of friends my children have. I then explained to my children that, "all people do not believe in God the same way, people are different, that is what makes them special, all positive religions that love and support its believers, offer something good to the world." I spoke as slowly and clearly as I could, in my serious Dad voice, hoping they understood. Their faces lit up almost immediately. They seemed to understand perfectly. I really wish all grownups did as well. As always, I hope this helps.

Knowledge=Value=MONEY!

Well as a Missouri sports fan it has been a brutal weekend. Saturday my Missouri Football Tigers were blown out by Texas. Sunday my St Louis Rams humiliated by Indianapolis. I know the Rams are TERRIBLE but I am a loyal guy. I was screaming from the rooftops when they came to St Louis and won a Super Bowl. So I support them now, albeit with a bag over my head. I am playing a slight game of catchup on personal marketing endeavors as I took a freelance marketing research job from a former colleague. I did some online research for a public relations proposal being submitted by his firm to a major British technological information services company. The funny thing is I HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING LIKE IT BEFORE. My former colleague happened to hear through the grapevine that I was doing fairly well for myself as an independent marketer and bounced some ideas off of me. After my input he offered me the job. His jaw dropped when I quoted my rate even though I gave him the old friend discount. What it turned into was a 6 page MS Word insert to be dropped into an adobe document that had already been created. Final cost $350 to him, time spent by myself 2 hours and 20 minutes. My point is I am no marketing expert but I AM A MARKETER. What this means is the information and knowledge that I have gained independently marketing products and services is of value. I know more about marketing than most people and that KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! He was blown away by the trends research I was able to do in seconds with Google Trends. I almost felt bad taking the money, but I know that I had to discover Google Trends by myself in order to utilize it. I used the Google Trends traffic graphs and news reference trends graphs for 5 keywords with the highest search volume pertinent to the company's website. I added a search volume bar graph and some minor sales copy work emphasizing the statistics. If I was to be able to earn a $155 an hour for that kind of work I might make a career change. On second thought, no I wouldn't because I would have to be tied to my PC. The beautiful thing about internet marketing is 1 really successful campaign or product launch and you could earn a cool million. If you have spent 60 minutes educating yourself in internet marketing or any niche or field. You already have more knowledge than a person that knows nothing about it. Knowledge=Value=Money if utilized correctly. I lived that this weekend. I hope this helps.

Setting Up An Environment For Success

What is the main reason most people fail in their internet marketing endeavors? Lack of FOCUS! You are probably sitting there shaking your head yes in agreement of if you are new and as excited as I was 4 short years ago when I cashed my 1st internet marketing check, Then again maybe not. The reason most internet marketers do not succeed is because they lose focus on the task at hand, which for all beginners should be creating fresh new content. Many get sidetracked by the enticement of surfing online or drawn into some internet guru's sales copy and end up purchasing a new product, then begin to jump off track implementing a new strategy that you emotionally feel is going to take you the next level. These so called gurus make a living off of your emotions and impulsive purchasing decisions. When it comes to marketing passion can be very helpful, but with that being said your routine should be logical. Stick to what has worked for you, and remember always that good content=traffic. Sorry folks the content will not create itself. If online marketing success is what you truly seek it does take hard work and FOCUS. The rewards are tremendous but FOCUS is mandatory.

Now let's discuss creating a FOCUS inspiring work environment. Unless you are a noise junkie like myself (I have my itunes blaring into my ears right now) a quiet workspace in your home office can be helpful. If there is a window in your office be sure to set your desk and chair up with your back to the window or far enough away from it as to looking out of it is not a distraction while working. I would suggest turning all ringers off on phones (unless you freelance and are taking business related calls) while working. Treat your marketing time as if you are working for an employer. Most employers do not allow for personal phone calls at work as to keep productivity steady. Organize your work area and supplies. Create an environment that promotes efficiency, there is nothing worst than having to look through stacks and stacks of material to find an article or keyword list that you finished earlier in the workday STAY ORGANIZED. Make sure your home office is just that your home office. Only keep business related materials in your office space no magazines, recreational books, PC games etc. can be focus killers, especially if you're fighting a bout with writers block. Make sure that your workspace no matter how big or small is a dedicated workspace meant for work only. OK now you should be set up. Time to get those creative juices flowing and get to work. I hope this helps.
